Guidebook Ad Design + Specifications

Acceptable File Format

PDF, InDesign or Illustrator. Include bleeds for full page ads only when creating your PDF. Do not include page information, trim or printers marks.

Color + Resolution

All elements in ads must be built in CMYK with a resolution of 300 dpi. Images used from a website are not acceptable as they are RGB and only 72 dpi.


All fonts must be embedded into the document during the PDF creation process or turned to outlines before creating the PDF.

Compatible electronic artwork is due as outlined above. Artwork not compatible will be created and/or altered for $125/hr. (1 hr. min). Cancellations must be received in writing before the reservation deadline outlined above; refunds will not be granted after this date. Premium/requested placement incurs a 25% surcharge. Ad placement obligates advertiser to payment in full. HBAFC board of directors reserves the right to convert the Parade of Homes to a virtual event at any time. The HBAFC board of directors also reserves the right to convert the printed guidebook to a virtual/digital guidebook, to be available on foxcitiesparadeofhomes.com.

All orders are subject to HBAFC’s acceptance. HBAFC reserves the right to reject or cancel advertising for any reason, including any ad which, in the opinion of HBAFC, does not conform to the standards of the publication. The ad must be clearly identified as the HBAFC member company or non-member company that placed the ad, and the ad must represent only products and services directly affiliated with that company that placed the ad. Ads may include recognition of subs/suppliers affiliated with the advertiser; however, other than national brands, subs/suppliers listed in ads must be HBAFC members. Ads may include lots and land for sale if offered by the HBAFC member/non-member placing the ad. Ads may not include specific items for sale with a listed price such as equipment, vehicles, paraphernalia, etc. Events that are in conflict with HBAFC interests and activities may not be advertised. Ads may not disparage or defame any other business or businesses in general. All ads are accepted and published by HBAFC upon the presentation that the agency and advertiser are authorized to publish the entire contents and subject matter thereof. When ads containing names, pictures and/or testimonials of living persons are submitted for publication, the order or request for the publication thereof shall be guaranteed by the advertiser and agency that they have obtained written consent for the use in the ad of the name, picture and/or testimonial of any living person contained therein. HBAFC works to ensure accuracy of all ads and shall not be liable for any damages, including consequential damages, if HBAFC fails to publish an ad or publishes an ad with errors or omissions. Non-member ad placements will be noted as such in the guidebook. The virtual guidebook may remain online as a reference material for several years; ongoing inclusion within online guidebooks is contingent upon the advertiser remaining a member in good standing of HBAFC and/or paying the non-member fee(s). 

1 Except for “Special Parade of Homes Builder rate” which is limited to current HBAFC Builder members who have a home(s) in the corresponding event’s publication. No ad brokering/additional logos are allowed. Any additional business logos included in the advertising will result in a charge at the standard full page price.
